Point of Light

We are honored to present the Point of Light Award to Henry "Hank" and Roxie (Billinger) VonLintel for their deep commitment to TMP-Marian and the Hays Community.  Hank is a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph's Military Academy and Roxie is a 1966 graduate of Marian High School and the daughter of the late Coach Al '41 and Christine Billinger.  Hank and Roxie have been married for 56 years.  They have three children, Eric '86, Steve '87 and Jodi '91, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  After graduation, Hank began farming with his father and over the years was able to increase the cow/calf operation and expand his dryland crop farming.  On the side, Hank did welding and mechanical repairs for all in the area.  Roxie worked as an office manager for several local oilfield companies for 21 years before transitioning to Human Resource/Benefits/Payroll Manager for 14 years.  Prior to her retirement, Roxie served on various boards and committees in the community, including United Way of Ellis County, Mary Elizabeth Maternity Home, Society of Human Resource Managers.  She is a member of the VFW Auxiliary and helps with the Marine Corp. Toys for Tots program.  They are avid supporters of TMP-Marian and take a special interest in the Al Billinger Fieldhouse and all of the projects associated with improvements to this facility.  Roxie is a school lunch volunteer and helps with the annual bierock bake sale.  Hank and Roxie have been active members of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  It is with great appreciation that we thank Hank and Roxie for their many years of service and incredible generosity to the Catholic schools and Hays community.
