Thanks to the hard work of Randy & Carol Brull, many different professionals in the area came and spoke to students about various careers they are interested in pursuing. It was a very informative afternoon, and we thank all who were a part of our day!

Author Kathleen Wilford stopped by to share her experiences as an author with some of our junior high students. Wilford is the author of Cabby Potts, Duchess of Dirt, which takes place in Kansas. Her book was recently named a Kansas Notable Book. The students enjoyed hearing about her characters, how she goes about the writing process, and also what life is like as an author.
